The center for trade for the whole eastern part of Asia and the gateway to the spice islands of the East Indies. The place where everybody tried to conquer the market. The place where Hang Tuah the most illustrious Malay hero in Melaka, leader of a closely-knit band of Melaka's finest warriors - Hang Kasturi, Hang Lekiu, Hang Lekir and Hang Jebat - a veritable Five Musketeers of Malay history.
For me, this is the place where I was born. Not somewhere in the picture.. but in the hospital laa...
